چکیده
Objectives: To Evaluate Preliminary Pharmacological screening of plant extract Ficus Auriculata Lour for Anti - Ulcer activity.
Materials and Methods: The fresh leaves ficus auriculata lour werecollected from the wild forest area village Mushyoli Distt. Bageshwar (Uttarakhand), India. identification authentication leaf’s ficusauriculta (BSI/NRC/Tech./Herb.(Ident.)/2019-20/433) was done byDr S.K.Singh Research officer Botany (Scientist E) at Botanical Survey India, (Northern regional centre, Dehradun).
Results: results pyloric ligation model showed that one or more processes were responsible reduction in baseline gastric output, inhibition ulcers index, rise stomach capacity, elevation pH fluid. consumption alcoholic beverages has been shown to significantly increase levels reduced glutathione (GSH), while tree reduce damage mucosa caused by beverages.
Conclusion: There a greater severity patients who took ethanolic auriculata. Treatment with an dosages 200 400mg/kg body weight exhibited statistically significant anti-ulcer action (p 0.0001) on percent protection against formation models produced indomethacin. It displays lowered ulcer decreased total acidity, increased volume, protein, contrast disease control. Additionally, it demonstrates enhanced pH. All these data point possibility high flavonoid content is some its actions.
